We have always received positive acknowledgement to the organisation of the event and we thought we should acknowledge the very many people involved.

We have to find 40 route marshals, 30 cake makers, 18 water stop personnel, 10 car park volunteers, 6 registration volunteers, 4 kitchen staff, 2 signage marshals (out at 5.00 am), St Johns Ambulance personnel, Paul, our wonderful mobile Chevin mechanic and our incident room.

We start planning the event in the previous October and have a steering committee of 7. As well as taking the plans forward, we have to find our wonderful sponsors to cover our costs to ensure that all our income goes to our chosen charities..

Finally, our many riders, themselves, help to make the event run so smoothly.
