Rotary clubs across our region are delighted to welcome residents and visitors, as the world’s greatest women cyclists take to the roads of Britain for the opening stages of the 2027 Tour de France Femmes.
This historic Grand Départ — with the first stage between Leeds and Harrogate on 30th July 2027 and passing through some of our most iconic landscapes — offers a rare opportunity to witness elite sport at its finest while celebrating the spirit of community that defines our towns and villages.
Rotary volunteers will be out in force to support spectators, assist with wayfinding, and help ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all. We encourage everyone to line the route, cheer on the riders, and join us in showcasing the warmth and hospitality our region is known for.
Together, we celebrate sport, community, and the power of people coming together.
