As a result of the contribution made by our riders and sponsors in 2025, we were able to receive a match funded award from Rotary’s Foundation charity to enable us to support the purchase by Dementia Forward of six new laptops.
These are replacement laptops for use by support advisers who do home visits across North Yorkshire. This month, Dementia Forward’s client base reached the 5000 mark. With no cure and an ever-increasing diagnosis of young onset (under 65) dementia clients, its financial needs, like many other charities, continue to grow.
